Ecotech is amazing

Just wanted to share a lil story. Recently one of my 3 radions randomly quit working. I would unplug it and plug it back in and would work for a while then do it again. Well it happened again last week and couldn't get it working again. Apparently ecotech saw the problems I was having when using their program via USB to try and reprogram the lights (try to restart the programs). Long story short they left me a voicemail to which I returned to find out they were going to give me brand new radions (all 3!!) at absolutely no charge. Received them within 5 days and couldn't be happier with how they treated me.They even paid for me to ship the old ones back. The man said "we understand u could choose from 100s of providers for lights and u chose us (and we understand we're not the cheapest) so it is the least we can do to show our gratification" How awesome is that!!!!! I will definitely keep buying from them. It's hard to find such good service these days. Nice to know some companies still care about their customers. :)
 
They replaced 3 lights for me 3 times in 14 months, (total of 9 lights) and 1 MP 40
they do stand behind there product, but IMO way to many problems overall I have a Chinese LED over a refuge its been running for 3 years , never a problem !!!
 
doesn't surprises me. they replaced a few of my pumps a while back!
no product is perfect, but standing behind their product/great customer service goes a long way!
 
I love the Radions...however I hate that the wet side of the fans tend to need to be fixed ALL the time...have yet to have a perfectly quiet wet side. I have replaced two already.
 
They do have an excellent replacement product program. They have so many returns that I guess that it's a case of practice makes perfect!:thumbsup:
 
Customer Service is everything. No matter how great the product is built there are going to be problems. It is such a relief when a company stands by their product and solves the issue. I have never had a single issue with my ecotech gear and I have been using their products for 3 to 4 years. I have heard so many quality examples of great customer service from ecotech I have no worries if my equipment ever goes out.

With that being said I will never purchase another product from reef Octopus after dealing with their customer service/replacement parts department.
 
It does suck that I had a problem with their product. But most companies would have said sorry its ur problem now or made me go through a bunch of hooplah to get them replaced. Refreshing to not have to argue with someone on the phone about something that wasn't my fault lol.
 
Good company. This is what the main difference is between an American quality company and some direct from China product.
 
Right there with ya. I recently had a bad hum on a MP40 and am now awaiting my replacement. Very quick response : )
 
My experiences with Ecotech have also been quite good. I think that there biggest problem is that they build on the edge of current technology (opinions vary but as a mass production vendor, there aren't many companies that are more advanced) and probably have had to rush a few things to market.

I also think that their equipment is a little like a high end sports car and requires both regular maintenance and a bit of tuning. For that reason, I keep a spare wetside for my MP40 and routinely swap in the spare to clean the running one. So far so good.
