EcoTech Marine Radion XR30w G2

Thanks. For some reason that rumor is being spread throughout a few message boards. I wouldn't think a company with as good customer service as ecotech would do that. Keep up the top notch service and you have a customer for life here.

This is false information; you would not receive a used unit through the SEP program if you are upgrading your G1 XR30w.

So thru the SEP program you are giving users 100% NEW and unused units (which one could theorize would have a full warranty)? Not refurbished units?

For example, If I take advantage of the SEP program, I get a new light, what happens to my old light which I return to Ecotech?

Its too bad effort was missed for the customers that are getting rebates for purchasing g1's in the month of october. $750 msrp $75 rebate cost Nov 1 $599 Someones calculator missed $75. Great product but point missed on exisiting customers. I personally bought 2 at the last day of October and just threw $150 into someones pocket hopefully R&D is where its used.

What is the benefit of holding out for the g2 as opposed to purchasing the g1 for 599 and potentially upgrading for $150 later?

When will the EcoTech Marine Radion XR30w G2 be available for the uk? And will the price be any different to the G1. Thanks

Question regarding the SEP program for the G2 upgrade. Once we receive the new unit, will there be a warranty period? Lets said my 2 G1 warranty expires in April 2013, but I make the exchange in Jan 2013, will the warranty for the new unit still expires on April 2013, or it will be extended to Jan 2014?

Also will there be a SEP program for the pro upgrade?

I think i missed something can someone explain the difference between the G2 upgrade and the Pro upgrade? i thought the g2 had the indigo ultra violet and the yellow led's or am i mistaken.

radion Generation 2, fan geração 2.

radion Generation 2, fan geração 2.

The Ecotech Marine to produce the radion Generation 2 and implemented changes in pro fan? From what I see in other communities is being used to mount the new radion a fan that was manufactured to withstand humidity and salt air.
You will provide these new fans for consumers who bought the first generation to replace the fan and avoid the problem that hundreds if not thousands of consumers are facing, ie the definitive shutdown of the radion in default Fan?

Can you tell us what you mean by the G2 upgrade will contain 2 LEDs? Does that mean you will only get 2 LED or an upgrade to the 8 white XTs and 8 royal blue XT LEDs?

Why not include LEDs with a UV spectrum? The more I research the more I think this may be the cause of so many RADION owners experiencing good growth but a washed out appearance in some of their SPS corals?

Thx for the info this was a huge help ill assume there isnt any confirmations on being able to do SEP for the pro's?

Yes, the Radion upgrade path (via SEP) will be available for both the G2 and Pro. Customers outside of the US will also be able to upgrade, but will do so via an international distributor. More details coming soon, stay tuned...

Yea!!! I am looking forward to upgrade!! How about my warranty question Jon? I got my G1 on 1/2012. And if I upgrade to the Pro? Will the warranty still expires on 1/2012 or will it be extended?

Thank you
