Some prices on fish at eddies arent that bad, for example i got my yellow tang theyre for like 30 bucks, but i wanted to get a true perc for my nano, that will run you $79 bucks as of today:eek2: :eek2: thats a little more then i want to spend. Is swamp bottom still open? maybe ill run down theyre this weekend.

Try Healthy Pet Center in east greenbush/troy, IMO the prices there are a bit better then eddies :)

Tony is still open down to swamp bottom, His stock is low though as he's trying to clear out before the big move, he is supposed to stock up big time once the move is complete :D

yeah, ill have to check out healthy pet center, its the only one i havent been to, how do you get theyre? i work downtown accross from the Pepsi arena, so im sure its really close.

When is Tony Moving? i really liked Swamp Bottom, just a little far for me, but i beleive he is moving a little closer.

I was there the other day @ Eddies. I remember them having a pair of True perc's that were alittle large for my tastes for i believe $79. Not sure if they are the same ones" Or the new shipment they get in early in the week. Most likely new shipment.

They had a large amount of Corals, mostly Shrooms and polyps that they had recently gotten in.

Everytime I have been in HPC they are low on corals. I guess they only sell out of the 120 gal. Which is a sweet tank. They keep the stock down so it seems tho.

The fish alot of time aren't reef safe. The prices are resonable from what i have seen. Its been a month since i was last in there so things may have changed much since then.

Hey thanks for promoting the store Keith!

You're right, HPC does not carry an overly abundant supply of corals. If there is anything that anybody is ever interested in (fish, inverts or corals) I can see if we can order something for you since I work there (at HPC)...but you are right about the low supply of corals...we only sell them out of the 120 gal tank so there is limited space.

As far as the true perc goes...I havent seen 1 on our order list lately, but I can check this week's list if you want and I can let you know the price...our orders go in on Mondays and arrive on wednesdays...

He will be open as of Tuesday at the new location. I stopped by the old shop to say Hi today after work, can't wait to see the new place.

What name did he choose for the new place? Did he choose one from the group suggestions?

In a way...

He decided to stick with swamp bottom but he's going to put a generic sign on the road that says Salt water fish and coral.

He doesn't want to part with the name but he wants to draw more customers into the store and he's not sure that the name does that.
