i have a bunch of scrap pieces if anybody wants them for making frag racks.

i also have 4 pretty large pieces that i cut for all the sides & bottom of the inside of my 30x18 tank, but i have since ordered some black eggcrate, so once it comes, i'll use these as templates to cut the black & then these panels will be scrap also.....

so anybody needs em let me know....save ya the cost of 4'x8' panels at the depot

question---- how do you cut the egg crate? I have some in my garage I want to use but did not want to break it - Thanks

I saw someone at the Memphis swap using a jigsaw. It worked well and fast. I always used wire cutters (a.k.a. diags or dikes) in the past and they work fine, but if you need to make a lot of cuts it can take a while and your hand can get pretty tired (at least for whimps like me who have jobs where the closest thing they see to manual labor is typing and walking up the stairs to their office).

I usually use dikes also, but I've been known to slide a screwdriver in and bounce it back and forth to break an entire row out, works pretty good once you get it started.
