eggs or other... string of white donuts

I have never seen this string of circles before. Does anyone know what it is? Before I clean them off in wanted to make sure it wasn't something that could be a good surprise.

Looks more like mesenterial filaments - some coral, mushroom or anemone may have spilled its guts.
