Hello,
Today I got two glass heaters : Eheim thermocontrol 100W and Eheim thermopreset 100W but unfortunately no one of them are working correctly at this moment. I firstly added the Eheim thermocontrol directly to my main reef tank (96L) and I noticed immediatly that the temperature was dropping slowly and when I touched the hot part of the heater it was only a little warm.
I decided then to put back to the tank my old stainless steel heater which is still working fine.
And I added both heaters to one recipient of 50 liters for testing, it has been so far 6 hours and a 10 degrees celsius water reached 14 degrees celcius with both heaters ON on a recipient of 50L. WOW. Im getting crazy. :headwallblue:
