If your talking about the stuff sold as electrical conduit, it's not pressure rated.

Bill, That's what i'm talking about can you use regular pvc glue . I'm guessing a quiet pump 4000 has about 20 lb pressure... wondering if I should use the gray stuff because you can buy curved connecions in gray. less gluing and better flow.?

It'll glue the same, but I'm not sure if there are any chemical differences in the plastics that would make a difference.

Grey electrical PVC requires a specific solvent for the best results. However, standard schedule 40 PVC works well . For flexibility it is hard to beat Flex PVC which can be glued with rain and shine PVC solvent or a solvent made specifically for flex PVC. It is ideal for use when you have many turns. The PVC solvent rain and shine(blue solvent) can be found at H.D. The Flex PVC can be found at some plumbing supply stores and online at www.savko.com.

Thanks Guy's for the insite.
I was asking because while in LOWES I noticed that the gray PVC electrical conduent pipe had really nice curved sections ranging from 1/2 inch to 2 inches and would have been great to use instead of the 45 degree white elbows that are supplied for the white PVC we currently use.
