I want to have an area on my new tank that is a dry area and plan to have that my electrical area under the tank. I was thinking of using this for the items that are always on that i do not need to have plugged into my controller. Anyone know of something better?

FWIW I prefer Chauvet as the construction feels and looks better and I prefer the blue lights instead of red.

the same type of device is available from a local mfg called Furman on s. mcdowell annex near 3p's and lakeville. You could probably go by and actually look at the diff models to chose which one. whatver you do make sure it isn't chinese.

I'm having a great day...got a bonus check at work, came home my 660 was at the door, the rest of my plumbing comes tomorrow!!! I'm thinking water maybe by this weekend!!! I may need some opinions from the reek smarties soon on the best way to plumb.....it the hap happies time of the year!! =) Early christmas to myself....all this money and time..... i can smell the tank running!!! =))

well i measure my stand and it is not 19 inch wide, it is 18 inch so it will not fir. I think i will need to use half the size I'll just have to buy more of them. =( The ble looked so cool

I could mount it inside, but i wanted to mount it so i can open a side door with a sealed off area from all water for the electical. I'll have to play with some ideas.

Tom: Where do you have yours mouted? Do you notice any rust if it is in the same area as the water?

Anyone else want to go in on an order?

mine is in the garage above the sump but my rack is open and not sealed like a cabinet. I havent notice any rust yet after 2 years

i went to buy two from https://www.audiolines.com/shopping-cart?mode=checkout&registered and the shipping is $37!!! That is crazy!!! I'm sure they are not that heavy or big, anyone wanna buy another one so we can split ot I'll pay 2/3 for shipping.

This is the same when you buy something on e-bay for $1 and the shipping is $10...it's like well i should have just bought it local. I'll check some local stero shops and report back.
