electrical wire to remote pump? How far?

Hello,

1st floor tank and apex with auto top off floats.
Kalk reservoir in basement .

Have avast peristalic pump and it clicks a lot hooked up under tank.

Thoughts on running 14/2 gauge wire into basement to power the pump closer
Kalk reservoir?

You can run AC 14/2 wire for nearly a mile. You have a DC switch located near the ATO floats? 110 AC needs protection from little hands and normal wear so make sure you use armored cable or place it in the wall.
