Elegance Coral People!!!!

I have a beautiful elegance that is my pride and joy but for the past 6 months it is acting strange. It dosent seem to want to grab on to anything i try and feed it. Also it has changed color to a lighter green and not expanded as much. I did change my lighting about six months ago from 10k to 20k but it looked good for the first month of that. Anyone have any ideas let me know. Thanks ....oh yeah i would love to see your pics of your elegances too!!

Probably will be dead soon. Thats about how long most of them last now days. They used to be considered very hardy, but for the past 4-5 years none have lasted longer than 6 months to a year.

Learn from this mistake and leave these beauties in the ocean.

by the way the coral is doing a little better...i have been feeding more in the tank and leaving it up to the coral to grab the food.

Check the marinedepot forums...they have some stuff going on about the Elegance Corals. Someone even brought theirs back after it dropped all it's tentacles with dosing iodine. Good Luck !!

Where is placed? On sand or higher on rock?
