I've had my elegance for a year and 3 months now. It has a home in the rockwork (NOT on the sandbed!), and I only occasionally target feed anything in my tank... including the RBTAs that grow well enough that I rarely have to spend actual cash on my tank. That said, I do work to provide a good mixture of free-floating food-- cyclopeese, oyster eggs, DTs, decapsulated brine, mysis, squid, and silverslides being the most common culprits. And like anything else, the proof is in the pictures:

I'm not advocating NOT target-feeding... but given the right conditions, it MAY not be necessary. At least in my relatively limited experience...
