Elegance?

Elegance?

I think when they are happy and healthy they tend to stay more inflated and thats what you want. Great coral! Thanks for sharing...

My elegance coral was like that but now I notice the elegance tentacles are about 2x longer.
I just find out that I haven't been using my Salifert Magnesium Test Kit correctly and find my tank Magnesium parameter was actually low 900ppm. Im currently dosing more Mag to get the correct level. Notice the elegance tentacles stretch-out more the same thing happens to my other corals.

Maybe your Mag is low or other parameter.

Just want to share my experience, hope it helps.

The elegance appears "healthy", just not as "happy" as it could be. The tank looks young and/or it's having some nutrient issues. Clear up these issues, and you're likely to see an improvement in your coral.

tanks, yes i have some problems with the tank, a few weeks ago i tougt the tank was leaking so i emty the tank, the rock was in buckets for a week before i got the tank up again.
so the tank is,int that great now, im having problems whit hair algea everywher.

In light of your tank issue I would say its looking good. It looks like you have it propped up on some rock though? Generally they are found on the sand bed in shaded low flow areas. Once your tank params stabilize maybe try locating it further down to see how it reacts. I wouldn't stress it anymore by moving it right now though, as it does seem to be doing fine. The elegance I have has been the most responsive to lighting and flow adjustments (good or bad) of all the lps/sps in my tank. Great looking ele though!
