does this elegance look alright? the polyps on this side retract. A few weeks ago something happened in my tank and one of my elegance mouths looked like it ate itself and at night had guts coming out of where it would fully retract. Eventually it stopped. This area seems to still retract at night as pictured. Is the mouth trying to heal? anyone have any idea? maybe more pictures are necessary. Just thought I'd see what people thought they could see. I really love this piece and so does my clowns.

A pic of it in the day time would help out, I had one elagance that closed up like that and it parrished, not saying yours will. How long have you had it, what are your parameters, also was anything done to the tank before this happened.

How is your lighting? Do you need knew bulbs? I had a simluar problem and new bulbs fixed it

thanks for the input. it doesnt look like this in the day. my parameters are stable and it may have been the bulbs. it may have been an increase in the nutrients i was adding to the fish food. it seems to be healing i think.
