Hi everyone,
I've had this elegance for around 5 weeks now, the last week it hasn't been opening up much. All other corals have good extension during the day. Parameters are slightly low but not to a state it should be causing issues.

Tank Details :- 120g (4 ft x 20" wide x 30" high) with 50g sump, protein skimmer, WP60 powerhead, Reef Breeders Photon 48 light (max at 50/70 lighting)

Water Tests (done again tonight)
kH :- 8.0 dKH
Calcium :- 400
Magnesium :- 1230
NO3 :- 20
Salinity :- 35ppt
Temp :- 77

I mixed up more kalk tonight to boost calcium, dosing baking soda for kH (currently holding stable)

This one has me puzzled. The only thing that I would try is to put it on one side or the other of your tank to a lower light situation yet still with a low to moderate flow.

They do like a little flow. Maybe try to place it like your hammer partial shade. If it opens more try to feed it. Elegance are notorious for being slow at acclimatization. They look good then just close up. Try not to move it to much. If it gets decent light and flow.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I tried moving it to the opposite side of the tank with no change.
I haven't seen any fish bothering it or any corals in the tank.

Today I went down the beach and got some fresh oysters off the rocks and have started to target feed the elegance. After 2 small feeds its showing more extension. I'll keep all updated on how it progresses.
