Elegance

Was it mounted on a disk. Looks to be mariculture as it has been fraged. The quality of indos that are coming in are better than they were a few years ago. I wouldn't worry too much as long as it continues to open and grow it will be fine . I have both indos and australian elegances and they both do good if it is a healthy one.

Very nice piece, but I'm concerned that you have it too close to the pieces around it. Can you take a picture further away maybe like a partial tank shot? Should be around 6" or more between LPS

They don't grow seperate heads. They will just get bigger and have several mouths.

This can't be true as they are fragged, proof Colin in your picture of it retracted. There is a member here, don't remember his name that has fragged them many times.

Being fragable and being able to grow separate heads are two different things? Does a wall hammer grow separate heads? Same situation as an elegance. They just get bigger and form more mouths.

I am the one the frags them all the time. They don't grow seperate heads and they just get bigger. I break the Skelton and cut flesh to seperate. I don't even always have a mouth on all. They always grow a new mouth. Takes about 30 days or so to heal .

It's also growth more like a trachy. With a cone shaped base. As they get bigger or if fragged they lose that shape.
