Even the Abyzz can fail, it just seems like for safety two high quality DC pumps in parallel is a better use of your money than one 1800 dollar pump.

If the money doesn't matter to you I understand that the Abyzz is a really nice pump. I can't imagine that anything would make it worth almost 3 times the price of a red dragon or more than 5 times the price of a Vectra. The price on those pumps is sheer insanity IMO.

Money counts a lot but since I am in love with this hobby even though still striving these days but I am willing to invest for long term goal. That is why I just bought my BK double cone 200 with RD3 versus initial thinking of deltec brand.

I have both of them in my sump. Just in case any one of them get problem when I take vacation. And I can remote control them by Apex.

AP700 is not as good as we think. Too many unfriendly design on it.

I fully agreed with you , same thing as when I bought the A360WE that time I thought it's the best but recently hated it as I heard the Par of A360 is far weak than that of AP700. So I believed there is much more that consumers has to reconsider as in near future may be some weak point of AP700 will reveal by then .

Since I got to communicate with Elton I have already absorb his ideology since we bought share a common denominator which is out of 12 months I am about 6 months traveling abroad and I always worry thing about my tank !

It looks like the little bit of shadowing created by the Kessels make the corals look more clear, sharp and crisp. I can see the individual branches of the corals better. A+

No, not in those pictures. The colors look better with the blue and it isn't overpowering.

To my eyes, the colors in the with pics look a little deeper. They seem a bit light in the without pics.

Another vote for with. Colors have more pop, less washed out, great contrast. I do not see it as overly blue at all... In fact I am really liking the color spectrum it looks like it's providing.

About contrast I can use Canon picture software to make a deeper contrast.
But it's true that AP700 can make more colors pop out.

You now have exact same light placement as the famous BRS 52 weeks tank setup video series. I am not sure what else you worry. Yes, I also agree with all others. Fire up your AP700.

The picture with the Kessils is better, but that is a Butt-Ugly combo of T5 Bulbs you have on there. 4 Purple bulbs, two AquaBlue Plus bulbs(which are very yellow) two Actinics, and two neutral white bulbs(lagoon blue). Zero blue bulbs. You need the AP700 just to give the overall mix some blue.
Everones' taste is different of course

No, I do not worry anything about color.
The only problem is from AP700 has a every poor software and it come a risk when I for vacation.

About bulbs I use just because I have two sets of Blue LED on it, if I use another blue bulb , like ATI blue plus, it really become too much blue for my tank.
Therefore I use lagoon blue instead of blue +.
