Emerald crab question

I've had my emerald for about 6 months. nothing to report. all they do is eat algae. whoever had that emerald that ate the gobies...

either the gobies were too slow, or you have one mean emerald. haha. though, i'm sorry to hear about your gobies...

not sure about many corals... but it leaves my candy & anemones alone.
 
I caught mine picking at one of my zoa colonies. When I got in to grab him, I he scooted away, so I took out my zoas. Freak'n crab!
 
I see my collection of emeralds constantly pruning my corals. I have spots on SPS where the larger ones have actually clipped the polyps off, so there are a series of whitish spots all up and down with no polyps. They only recently started doing this which I attributed to the fact I have cut back significantly on the feeding for that system. My guess is that when they are hungry they will resort to eating things that they would possibly otherwise not bother.
