Emerald Crab Sleeping in my SPS Coral (Is this ok? or Damaging)

My Emerald Crab has decided on a new sleeping spot.

In my Pollicipora coral as see below. Sleeps in exactly the same spot, each day, every day.

Is this ok, or is this going to Damage or kill the coral.
When he moves out, I do notice the Polyps are bare in that spot. (You can see the baring, just right of him)

I think it'll be a problem because that part of the coral will not get sufficient flow or light. It may start to develop STN.

Mine always hang in the spa branches. I have never seen any problem yet. Sometimes I knock them off if there to long. Im sure they will irritate polyps extension some.

I just caught and tossed an aggressive Large Hermit into my Sump (recent add).

I notice he's been harassing the Snails.

Perhaps the Emerald has also been harassed by this Hermit and it's the Emerlads hiding place.
This is kind of a new pattern, since I see other smaller hermits also sleeping in other SPS branches.

I'll knock him down a few times, so he learns the hermit is gone.

We'll see.
