Emerald Crab turned White!

2 days after adding it to my sump/fuge it turned white. It's been over a month with no change.
I supplement it's diet with dried seaweed and Marine Spirulina wafers, both taken directly when given. So I know it's eating well.
I've read several different reasons given for this malady. Testing shows nothing lacking within water parameters. Nor has it molted.
I'm stumped!

I have had 2 in my tank and both turned white within a month or so. I had 1 for about a year and the other about 6 months. I don't buy any more because of it. And I also fed them dried seaweed all the time.

I found a small emerald (1" shell) with 3 or 4 large ones (4-5" shells in the keys this past summer all under a big rock. The little one was/is whitish and the big ones were all green..
Don't know why, but it happens in nature too.

Mine got white patches after I tried to premix Reef foundation abc and it clouded my water. It's been about a month he is still white but doing fine
