Emperor angelfish

One more thing about damsels. Even larger ones can change color. I once bought an entire 30 gallon tank of LR and misc soft corals. When I got it home and was sorting it out I found a 3" damsel. I called the guy and told him, and he said he didn't know it was even there but if I wanted it I could keep it or he would come over and take it back. Well, the damsel was a beautiful. It was an irridescent white with a blue back so I decided to keep it. Needless to say, within 24 hours of going in my main tank, he turned to a deep black and has stayed that way ever since. No one picks on him, and he is an OK citizen except for occassionally chasing my Auriga butterfly.

The emperor i have it hates the lownmover bleny any small damsel

just goes to show how everyfish is different, i have mine with a couple damsels, and a lawnmower blenny. it never acknowledges the blenny but isnt too fond of the damsels. he seems to have taken a great liking to my clown trigger though. they are always together.
