emporer angel eye looks like salt on it not ick or flukes

the water is fine he is in a 300 for 7 months now all other fish are fine and he is also except on eye is hazy and loos like salt is on it.
I did a freshwater dip Friday on him thinking it was flukes again but it was not he was clean. nothing has been added I have fish in ot but waiting for my 400 to get here . so I have no clue what this is ?

no one has seen this? this is my daughter favorite fish she hand feeds him. don't want any prob. with him.

If it's only one eye, then it might just be due to injury. You can try dosing epsom salt (1 tablespoon per 5 gals) to help relieve the swelling. Soaking his food in vitamin supplements might also help.

Now, if it happens in the other eye too, then you'll know you are dealing with an infection. Sometimes the vitamin thing will enable his immune system enough to fight off the infection naturally... or you can QT & treat with antibiotics.
