I'm going to leave the hobby for awhile. Probably will come back in a few years with a larger tank. Between my three jobs, I don't have the time to take care of it properly.
Fish: Most of them eat nori, flake, pellet, and frozen. The longnose will only eat nori and frozen. I have had most of them for a long time.
10" Naso Tang (over 5 years old) - $125
8" Clown Tang (over 5 years old, bought with Naso from another reefer years ago) $100
6" Powder Blue Tang (5 years old) - $75
6-7" Hippo Tang $50 (5 years old, has some of what my wife calls age spots) - $30
Yellow Longnose Butterfly (4-5 years old) - $20
4-5" Yellow Tang (he was beat up a bit a year ago and his fins haven't really grown back) - free w/purchase
Tomato Clown 2-3", Dottyback, 3 @ Anthias (not sure which ones - pink color), Royal Gamma, Pajama Cardinal - all for $40
Coral:
Hammer - 8 head frag - $30, 20 head rock - $50
Frogspawn - 7 head frag - $25
Bubble - $20
Branching Frogspawn 6+" - $25
Cotton Candy Zoas - branching rock with 30+ heads - $30, 20+ heads $20
Huge Green Cup 10+" - $40
Galaxy - $20
Torch - 3 heads - $10
Something called Chili Pepper Monti (I think) - $10
Crabs and Snails:
Probably 20 hermits and 10-12 snails. There may be a few emeralds left and Chitons and Porcelain crabs. These are all free to the person that buys the last bit of livestock.
And the rock: All from BRS - all soaked for 3 months in a lanthanum solution to soak up phosphates. Ben in salt water for 11 months now. Some pieces have started growing coraline. I tried to do my best to quarantine everything, but somehow still ended up with some bubble algea and 2 aptasia. I THINK all of the bubble algea is gone after purchasing a bunch of emeralds about 6 months ago. I did see today that there is one aptasia left. That just ****es me off.
20 lbs shelf
20 lbs brach
120 lbs punaki
$3/lb or all for $300
The fish might be tough to catch with all of the rock still in place. If at all possible I would like most of this to happen on the same day. But... we will see what kind of interest we have.
I live off of I-17 and Dixileta - a few miles north of I-17 and the 101. You will need to bring your own containers. Once all of the livestock is gone, I will put up an equipment thread.
