I bought 2 true percs about a year ago in for my relatively calm 29 Gallon. It has 9" sebae anemone(healthy, had for almost 2 years now) and half filled with pulsing xenia. a Fuge filled with chaeto and a Skimmer(currently off).
According to the size of my clowns it looks like they either stopped growing or will need another 6 months to mature and get their sex.
but i was wondering what will encourage them to be a breeding pair. They seem to be friends if not a pair if sexed already.
They are totally comfortable in their anemone, but what i dont understand is they RECENTLY stopped leaving their anemone for food, and they wait for it to literally drop infront of their faces.
But ya, basically my main question what will induce the breeding side to them. (this is besides good water conditions, peaceful fish mates, regular schedule and comfortable living)
My lighting is a 150W HQI (if that mattered for you guys)
Thanks,
Josh
