I would say M. mollis or M. turgescens. Looks to be the same species as the sunset and possbily morning star montis.

After looking at Veron again I'm thinking all the purple haze is actually M. orientalis and not M. mollis. The photos of mollis look much more like the big polyp encrusting montis that are so popular.

I would tend to M. turgescens rather than M. mollis, which has a finer coenosteum, but it could be M. floweri. Can't see enough of the skeleton. Interesting colour combination.

Actually Veron/AIMS says that the coenosteum on mollis is coarse, which was one of the primary reasons I dont think "purple haze" could be mollis. Although I think you're right and this one looks more like turgescens.

I have two different sunsets, and I think there is one of each species
