You gotta actually chip off some rock. Its a pain. You can also put some rubble rock around the dusters and they will cover it in a matter of days! Then just give away the rubble.
I think the rubble might be the way to go then. Thanks!
I can get some to come off the overflow. I've moved like 20 or so to my refugium on another tank. I use a credit card and get under their tube. If I am quick enough I am able to get them before they try to escape.
Kisscouple - Like I said I'm not so good at removing them yet. I'm going to see how the rubble thing works in the future. FWIW, I don't PM here on RC any longer. Email is the best bet to get a hold of me.
I have several in my tank, three of which are right next to one another. Mine are in small holes in the live rock. They do not have the tubes like yours. Do you have any tips on how to get them to reproduce?? I have cool looking lime green one that I would love to have reproduce but he is the only one that is that color. There are two other ones that are next to him but they are a light brown.

Keep them well fed. I don't dose phyto, but I feed that tank a ton twice daily. Lots of frozen foods, though I decant and rise the packing juice I think I create a nutrient rich environment (not so desirable) for them to grow/reproduce.
If people are out to remove them, as mentioned before peppermint ship will go after them from time to time. As well Copper Banded Butterfly fish.
i have read that sporbid worms (the small coiled up featherdusters) are a sign of high nutrient levels in the tank, which as was mentioned earlier is not always a good thing.
I have alot in my tank, always feed the tank well so it's my own fault. But, I rip out clumps every week or so and feed them to the small CBB in my spouse's tank ... makes that little fish very, very happy
