Epoxy bare bottom?

Been doing some research & think I am going to go with bare bottom in the 375, picked up some Famowood 2 part epoxy, then sprinkle the bottom with sand. Anyone have any experience with this? Mixed a little up tonight and tried it on a sheet of acrylic & seemed to work great.

I actually read about this the other day. Sounds great for a SPS tank. Are you going to use starboard? Please do a build thread on this!

I was thinking straight on bottom of tank, think that would be a problem, how much is starboard a sq foot, got a lotta real estate to cover 8' x 30".

I am not sure about that, might want to research that one. There are a few threads on here about starboard. I think it's not too pricey, but no cheap either.

Plus not sure how big of piece may fit thru my opening.

I would use starboard. Otherwise you have to keep it forever.

Also with the starboard you could use it to make some countours on the tank floor. Ledges valleys rifts and such and still be bare bottomed
