thanks

The box holds 3lbs that I picked up from Walgreens to get it near 1250.
That seems like alot to add and from what I've been reading I can add it all at once mixed in ro of course ...? correct

I recommend raising magnesium by at most 50-100 ppm per day in case there are impurities like ammonia in it.

As mentioned in the article linked above, Epsom salt alone is not the best way to supplement magnesium.

I understand it not being the best way to go about raiseing the levels up, but reading it as long as Im keeping up with water changes it should not turn into a problem. After several days of struggling to increase my alk,ca.mg and ph the mg has the only thing off. I started thinking the problems could be tied to the recent upgradeing from the 75 with 30 gal. sump to the new setup 120 and 75 gal. sump{2 weeks}. Maybe even a batch of bad salt{RC}

your thoughts ?

I think Epsom salt is better than no additive, and certain other additives are a better way to go if the boost is large. Epsom salt adds more sulfate than magnesium. :)
