equipment advise please

I currently have a 128 gal. Oceanic RR tank. It is approx. 60X18X29. On a past request, I was advised that two 6000 and a multi controller would be good. I am planning a potential home remodel that may allow me to upgrade to a tank that is 72X30X30.

I was ready to go ahead and get the streams and controller, but if I upgrade the tank in a few months to the larger tank will the 6000s be too small?

If they are just buy 2 7410.602 transformer to upgrade them the total cost will only be a few dollars more. You probably will have to upgrade but seeing as these projects always take longer than expected you may need to use a smaller pump for several months.

Okay, so go with the 6000s and they can be upgraded to 6100s for not much expense?

About $70 a pump so basically the difference between a 6000 and a 6100, and a bit of extra shipping.
