Equipment Room Ventilation??

I have a small equipment room(coat closet) adjacent to my aquarium. It contains the sump and all the power distribution. I have a small ceiling box connected to a duct into the attice that exits near the eave vent.
I have been using the small 12v computer cooling fans which work great for awhile but soon they get a salty redidue covering and cease to function.

What are you guys/gals using to vent your equipment rooms? I've got to figure out something, with the fan off it stinks up the house:hmm3:

Thanks

I installed one of those bathroom fans (75cfm) to blow out moisture from my fish/equipment room. My fan is on a switch now but I'm going to put it on a timer soon.

I used something similar to a bathroom fan and setup a humidity and temperature controller to turn it on automatically.

bath fan makes sense, i guess they would be designed to handle moisture... No problems with the excess salt(spray) or corrosion?
Also rwessels, what did you use for your humidity controller?

Thanks

From what Ive read the fan wont last more than a few yrs becase it will rust from the salt. I bought the cheap ($17) one.
