it's still there..... i had to pick up my vortech, and try it out in the 125 since I still don't have water in the 120, plus 3000gph is just a tad to much for the 7. I;m thinking 428x turnover is just a little too much. they should be pretty sweet once both are running with a pair of 6045 nano streams.

Dang I was hoping to go see the vortechs running today at Scotts.
arent they variable speed? I think that would be funny to have one in a 7 with it turned way down.

yeah they are variable speed. there pretty sweet, but only 300gph. one of your tunze's is almost twice that!

yeah I know but i'm thinking in the future I want flow from the other end of the tank. I don't want the big tunze's in the way.
Icecap says they will have a vortech that will be able to work through 1.5" thick acrylic available this fall.
We'll see, maybe since they are making them for thicker tanks they will also flow more.
