ESL controlling Vortech pumps

Can't use slave mode after upgrading for app?

Can't use slave mode after upgrading for app?

I upgraded both my vortechs to work with the app..but can no longer use master /slave feature? Help :deadhorse1:

We have created a series of instructional videos on our YouTube channel. Please check them out. Each video has "iPhone and ReefLink VorTech Control" in the title.

The videos were informative, but I am still unclear as how to create a Vortech schedule that utilizes different behaviors within a 24 hour period.

Can Vortech schedules be imported and exported?

If I'm not mistaken, we should have 24 hour control with different mode settings and variations once the full vortech integration takes place within ESL.

Just by looking at Vortech demo screen on the ESL page, it will give us Vortech users a full range of program options.

I think we are in for a real treat once the full integration takes place.

The word for the day, is to have patience and let the software engineers do what they do best, create outstanding programs for us.

Thanks,
Randy

Tried to connect tonight and my ReefLink is not blue. It is green red and orange. I looked in my box for an owners manual but just found a quick start guide. How do I fix my ReefLink?

Try disabling your firewall and see if can reconnect your ReefLink. If that doesn't work, make sure you enable your WPS.

Unplug it and plug it back in..I have had that happen..fixes it for me

So you have to have reeflink in order to control your vortechs with ESL? If so, any estimate on when I can program from my laptop?

Currently you are able to use your IOS device to control VorTech pumps via the ReefLink. That said, VorTech programming will be available for the website within the next few weeks.

When we can control the Vortech's via the laptop and USB or do we need a reeflink to have them change modes? Will the radions tell them to change modes like in night mode and feed mode?

I'm guessing you'll have to wait for the full integration between ReefLink and the ESL program, which is two weeks out or so.

Once the full ESL integration is up and running, that's when we'll have all the various parameters and settings to use for our vortech pumps.

Hang in there, I'm sure the software engineers at Ecotech Marine are working almost 24/7 to fine tune and tweak the iOs apps and ESL vortech integration.

Thanks,
Randy

after I updated my iOS ESL app it instantly crashes. I suggest if you haven't updated your app not to do so.

Frustrated...

I did not have this problem.
My Vortechs are working with the new app, they also got updated with no problems.

No idea why it worked with my system and not yours.

No issues here. I did have to reboot the ReefLink before it would update and address the Vortechs. Using it with 2 MP40s, 2 MP10s, and 2 Radions.

I would like to see the app set the Master/Slave relationships and be able to specify location in the tank to optimize the EcoSmart modes.
