I am looking for info on the ESO Water Level Cont. 8540. The web site said almost all ro systems with a clean water tank.Is the tank a bucket? From the pic on the top of the ro page it looks like I would also need the Osmolator Universal 3155. thank you

The ESO water level controller will work in any reservoir to automatically fill it. It does not require the Osmolator. It's sole purpose is to turn off and on an RO unit for the purpose of automatically refilling your reservoir. It uses conductivity to detect water so it is not suitable for RO/DI water which has too low conductivity. We do not offer this part in the US at this time. In Germany Tunze is the authorized Spectrapure distributor and this part corresponds to Spectrapure set Electronic Level Controller 115V. Someday we hope to offer these units but until then it makes little sense for them to be shipped from Arizona to Germany and then back to Texas- it only adds to the expense. SpectraPure suggested retail is $97.

Along these lines then roger, is there a way to rig something with the osmolator sensors to hook up to a solenoid to control an RO/DI topoff resevoir type deal? Just curious. I just fill a bucket periodically and pour it into the osmolator bucket in general, but ya never know....

For RO/Di I would suggest the Spectra pure kit that uses a pressure switch and secondary safety float used in the reservoir to control a solenoid. The Osmolators redundant safety 10min time out makes it unuseable with an RO system. Axel was talking about making something for this application but I suggested it was a liability I didn't want and the idea was dropped.
