Established Magnifica deflate

So I get home about 2 am this morning and everything in the tank looks fine. Seconds later one of my mags deflates out of nowhere. No change in water chemistry, temp, etc. I had to move him around about a week ago but he was left on his rock and was put back in the same spot he was. This stressed him some but no deflation and he was back to himself shortly afterwards and has been fine since. Can he rebound after a deflation or is it automatic treatment?
 
Il let the experts chime in, but it should be able to bounce back. Not sure why it deflated in the first case though
 
If you're talking about 2 in the morning, I think it's fine. Probably expelling waste or extra zoox. Just keep an eye on it. If it does it again, especially during the day, then you may want to move it to a QT tank. However, if it's established, then it's probably not an infection.
 
Eats like a pig. And just ate a day ago so maybe just flushing. Has quick feeding response, etc. Just freaked me out but I guess I don't see it at 2 am much. Had an active shooter incident here in Bham I had to be out on late.
 
If it's established, should be no reason to treat, unless you added a new nem that transfered bacterial infection, that can happen fyi
 
Only the one deflate so far. When I moved it it's in the same spot but now more up on a pedestal and can't lay out over 2-3 rocks like it was doing before. I'm curious if it had to purge itself to become smaller to better manage on the pedestal. I hope I'm making some sense, lol.
 
Watch it very closely. One of my fav mags deflated. I figured hey it's just once. It went down hill very fast. Now I'm to the point my next mag when I get it. Anytime it deflates I'm paranoid I'm gonna yank out and treat.....

Oh, It made me nauseous initially, lol. Seems to be adjusting back to normal though. Caught him balled up when I checked my video this morning.
 
Both have been in my tank for about a year together and both were established in other tanks prior to entering mine.
 
I did have my calupera go asexual on me around the time of the deflate. It went to mush in my sump. Got it out quickly but it did cause a small algae bloom in the tank. That's all I can think of that could have got the ball rolling.
 
So update, no more full deflates other than the initial one the other morning at 2 am. He does not look happy though. Mouth is staying closed mostly but is also puckering weirdly and not like it was prior to stressing. He is also much smaller than he was before. Tentacles have not shortened or anything but the overall size of the nem is a condensed version of what it once was. What's some opinions? You think it needs treatment or just going through a "re-acclimation" because I changed its surroundings a bit and I need to wait it out. And should I place rock work back around it like it once had prior to me being an idiot?
 
My opinion either wait it out if you think it's healthy. Or safer then sorry pull it and treat it. If it was me. I've lost two because I waited when I should have pulled it.

That's my thinking, if it is sick i'd like to catch it as early as possible. Plus get it out before it effects my other one.
 
Did a water change and gonna still closely monitor since there has been no more deflates. Treatment never goes my way so I wanna be sure.

This morning about an hour before my lights are set to come on. I'll post another one a little while after lights start to ramp up. I'm going to continue to hold off treatment for now. I do have some water mixing just in case.
