ETRC Officer Nominations

Hey guys, its that time of year again... Our Board of Directors runs from July to June... We will take nominations for the board during the rest of the month, elections in June, new directorship takes over in July... Please post if you are nominated but do not want or have time for the position... If you think someone would be fit and you would like to see them run for office, please nominate them... If you would like to be considered for nomination for a particular office, please let it be known...


I encourage our newer members to participate in this... New members are not exempt from becoming officers and your votes count the same as us veterans...


This is your opportunity as members to help decide which direction this club goes in by voting in our leaders for the next year...

More details about the different positions will be discussed at the meeting... If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask...

Thanks Janie for the nomination. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately, I live in Nashville now. It would be hard for me to do any board work, much less make the meetings. And if you asked Randy, I slacked on making the meetings when I still lived in town. You wouldn't want me on the board anyway

Seriously, we need people that want to be on the Board of Directors and help out our club. If there is anyone that would like to do this, volunteer and you'll get nominated...

Thanks, but I respectfully decline the nomination. I'm starting my dissertation this summer and want as few outside commitments as possible until it's done. Besides, I know next to nothing about reef-keeping and have abysmal social skills.

There are already several more capable nominations above.
