etropicals vs live aquaria

Always pays to shop around, I found the same price differances (but shipping would have killed me). Would guess that the site that is tied closested to Dr FS would be more accurate, however I am sure the site with the lower price would honor it, at least if they wanted return business.

Just picked up one of these from Pet Supplies Plus for $9.95, Just Pets had them for $15. The guy at Just Pets claimed that they are in short supply (just received a shippment of 5-6), something about how they are obtained by commercial fishing when netting for something else. The target fish are sup. to be moving to deeper water with the Peppermints following?

Thats what I thought Jason but etropicals does say 14 day guarantee on the left side.

I dunno I never understood really how they have like 3 different places. If you order corals and fish they don't come from the same place right? I know Rhinelander doesnt have the fish or inverts.

I would call and ask them Brian.

They are both part of Foster and Smith I think the difference is one of them sells strictly stuff from the Caribbean.

Actually Rhinelander does have a lot of the fish now. I know they are expanding yet again...
But you are correct. Most of the items from live aquaria and e-tropicals do come from different warehouses.

My guess is that it would be a typo error.

West Coast vs. East Coast

West Coast vs. East Coast

E tropicals carries purely Carribean stock, where as live aquaria has a full variety. E tropicals is less expesive due to more localized livestock, shipping out of Florida. I have bought from both and have had good success with both. If I want Carribean based species I always go to Etropicals first as the cost is less. They have a pretty good build your own cleaner package. Spend $65 and shipping is free.

The only fish Rhinelander had in June at the coral conference for shipping were the rare ones in the divers den.

I know many yrs ago I used to get alot of my fish, corals, and dry goods from Flying Fish in Cali. Then Doc Fosters took Flying fish over so I'm assuming thats what live aquaria is now.
