ETSS skimmer help....Please

I got a reply email from Gary at 5:30 this morning (eastern)! If my repair does not work, he gave me information to ship it back for repair. If all goes well, I will be installing the new pump this weekend and I will let you guys know how significant the improvement, if any, is. I am planning on replacing my main circulation pump soon so I am interested to see how well the Blueline Pumps perform as well.

It has been responsive in my case, just last week I sent him an e-mail at night and responded early the next morning.
The following day I called over the phone and Gary personally answered at the first ring.
He is building a new tops for my ETS which I am expanding to 2,000 gal per hour.
He is not always in the office but I will suggest try the phone.
I do not know what he can do in your case with a broken riser, probably the alternative you took is fine. I would have preferred some selcon rather than silicon but I think it will work.

Here is the data I have for them:

Just got delivery of the skimmer tops this morning, exactly when he said I would get it.
Now I have new toy for the weekend :D

2000 GPH? Wow. What kind of pump are you using for that? I just completed the install of my new pump and so far so good. The repair is holding and I really see a difference in the type of foam. It's more of a fine foam and it is now "pulsing" up the riser, which it never did before. With the other pump, I could not get such a fine foam and it just kind of stayed in the riser without much movement. I really think this is going to make a difference. Good luck with the new tops, I will let you know how I make out as well.

Good you have already noticed an improvement. In my case I just installed the espansion, I have it now with an Iwaki 70 RLT fully open at about 1500 gph, it started producing skimmate in about 20 minutes, I will observe it and readjust it when it fully kicks and see how it performs. I have the Iwaki 100 RLT in stand by to boost it to 2000 gph but I might not need it at all. As it is, it is already processing about 4.5 times the system capacity per hour. (I was processing about 3 times per hour)
