euphyillia compatability

hi, quick question. i've read that all euphyillas can touch one another without any worries about aggression. I've also read that this only applies with frogspawn and hammer corals, but not with torch coral. so which is true? the reason i ask is that i have had all three specimens in my set up together for one year now and although i have the frogspawn and hammer coral within touching range, as a precaution i have kept the torch at a distance. now i plan to rearrange my tank and i would like to keep my torch closer to the others. can i/should i do this? also, relative to the other two, my torch is fairly slow growing. do they need more light/nutrients than the other two, or are they simply more delicate? i have a 72 bow lit by 4*54w T5's. the tank is 22 in. deep and i have all three are roughly 18 to 14 inches from the surface, with the hammer being lowest and the frogspawn highest. both have shown fast and extensive growth, but the torch has grown very slowly. thanks for any help. sorry for the long post

my belief is that hammer and frogs can comingle (this part I know for sure), but they will attack torch corals.

growth depends on a lot of things and I don't know enough about your tank or the coral placement to say anything there.

Hey, I'm waiting to see if you CAN move the torch in. I'm betting it's all right, but nobody I know has that answer for sure. Put them closer, on a night when you're home to observe. If aggression happens, I think you'll recognize it: highly extended tentacles, straight tentacles, etc.

I have heard from folks that there is aggression there, I just don't want to say for sure because I have not seen it.

I came across an article by Eric Borneman a couple weeks ago, and he stated that the hammers and frogspawn are fine together all members of the euphyllia actually, except the torch. For whatever reason, the torches don't always play nicely with the other euphyllia members.
