Anyone using the blue pop bulb? This sounds really promising? I have always wanted the led blue pop on my system but run t5s so I never get it. I have thought about other led strips but the only ones I think would give me what I am looking for are really expensive. Reef Brites.
Just thought these could give that missing blue pop on t5 set ups. Par is not a real concern on the blue pop bulbs for me because I get plenty from my t5 ATI

There are a few people loving the blue pop in reviews for that exact reason. Do a search on this and various forums. You wants are exactly why that bulb has been a big hit.

I have 2 in my ati t5 fixture, 4 super blues, 2 figi purple 2 blue pop, i like them when they actually turn on. But they dont come on with my timer, have to turn it on and of then on before they light up

So you totaly love the bulbs? How do they compare to rhe blue plus in terms of actinic pop. Better or the same? Why wont they come on with your timers?

i have two 60" blue pops and i love them so far. they're pretty much a strip of royal blue leds but very diffused with no hot spots. They look just like a t5 lamp as far as their encasement and light spread. The only issue i have with them is the sag, they weren't made rigid enough and it sags in the middle. Last i heard they are working on clips to support them in the middle. As far as start up issues, i do not have that problem, that may be an isolated incident.

So how do you compare them to blue plus as far as color and brightness?

+1 - I have them on my ATI fixture, they do sag a little but still work perfectly. They work perfectly with my ATI Dimmable fixture and they also Dim well. No startup issues whatsoever for me.

So is the pop, led pop or t5 pop? Their is a big difference in the color. I have a radion I use for frag swaps and the blue that it gives off is soooo deep blue. Gives ever fllouresence strain on the coral a light. Lol.

It's an LED pop. PM me with your email and I'll send you a short video if you like

I'm wanting a cleaner look without having to add the reef brite onto my ATI fixture. Plus want that LED pop from the light

Did you put both blue pops on opposite ends?

I added them on Ch1 which is the 2nd bulb in from the front/back - this way I can control them independently and run the blue's longer if I want to

Does it make a big difference?

Depends what you want to do with them, I like to run all blue for about an hour before/after all my other lights turn on/off (Sunrise/Sunset). To do this, I needed to run them on Ch1 so they could have their own start/end times. That's just what I like, others may have different opinions
