Is any clearance required to remove the collection cup on a Euro reef CS-80.

on my cs6-1 you need a couple inches. Just so you can raise it above the screw union that holds it on.

I have a CS8-1 and you need about a 1/4" or so. Its not really threaded but has a locking mechanism that engages on a clockwise turn. Needs about 1/4" to drop in and out.
