Anyone had a fish in the chaetodon species reproduce or show spawning behavior. i'm seeing something protruding from the vent near the anal fin and trying to determine if its something to be concerned about.
it reminds me a little of the protrusion that comes out from my female clownfish when she is about to lay eggs. do butterflyfish do this or would there be no physical evidence even if the fish were ready to spawn?
either that or could be constipated? something bacterial causing that perhaps? it looks like a white pouch.
