Everyones top 10 Favorite corals

Are we talking ones that we currently have in our tanks? And are we talking about specific kinds or just a general kind like acans, chalices, torches..etc things like that?

specifics such as acans and torches please try to put in pics of what u have or like...even better could be from your tank

The Bubble is a great favorite of mine too:

Sorry, that's only four. I'll have to think about number five.

I love favorite lists!! My top 5 favorites are as follows:

1. All time favorite-Blue/Purple Hornet Zoas-Don't have any in our tank right now but I am certainly looking!!!
2. Standard Whammin' Watermelon Zoas
3. Neon Trumpet-Bought a "small" with 5 heads at the last fragswap @ ARC which has now grown into 12 heads!! Awesome.
4. Pulsing Xenia-It grows like a weed but I can sit in front of my tank all day and watch the pulsing action.
5. Green Nepthea-I'm a huge fan of the Leather coral family in general but the one I got from the last fragswap is just great.
6. Bonus!!! When we set up the 40 breeder I will for sure be getting a small Toadstool Leather with Green polyps with hopes of it growing so big in the tank that I can frag fist sized chinks off of it no problem.

1.Torches
2.Blastomussa Wellsi
3.Reef Ready Grapejuice Acropora
4.Several Encrusting Montipora
5.Most Palythoa
6.ORA Red Planet Acropora
7.Tyree Bali Tri Color Acropora
8.Tyree Purple Monster (Acropora ?)

Ahh Hell this will never end..

This is a hard one. Like asking a father of six who his favorite two kids are.

But nevertheless Green Star Polyp will always be in my top five. Although at times Im killing that stuff and right now don't even have any in my tanks.

when I show "non reefers" my aquarium full of spectacularly growing SPS they usually could care less about them but they ALWAYS ask about green star polyps

so Bubble coral and GSP's are in my top 5 favs

I would say my top 5 are
1-tods (toms) torch-I got a head that was splitting into two from the one fish store in rochester, that has the front of the building all painted all up, for a great price($55) its still in the splitting process but it splitting in four instead of the original split.
2-Favias(have to get a new one)
3-my green/teal/bluish hoddion carpet anenome(does this count)
4-frogspawn
5-chalices (the ones that form a "cup" shape, like a TRS
So many to choose from.....

1-Acanthastrea lordhowensis
2-Euphyllia glabrescens
3-Wellsophyllia
4-ricordea florida
5-Encrusting motipora
6-Zoanthids

This summer a move is going to interrupt my build but my goal was to put dozens of ricordea blanketing the bottom of my tank with some choice zooanthids on small rocks. A nice wesophyllia between the two rock islands. I was skinning my rock with encrusting montipora, and a few acans lords. Torch corals with good extension to round out the top. If I ever finish it I'll tear it all down and change to SPS.

Ok, Ok, I'll make my GSP's number 5. This one is on a rock that's about six or seven inches tall, so it's a sizable colony:

all very nice corals!

all very nice corals!

Acropora must be on my list. Acropora and Montipora. There's too many species to pick a favorite, but I find bottlebrush Acros particularly fascinating. Scrolling Monti's, too.
