The First picture is cespitularia. Its different from regular xenia, from a top down angle it looks much more impressive like the ones in the post below mine. It also grows in a different way.

Ya almost have a frag of that pulsing yet ghost and yes they are hard to find but somehow I have managed to find 2 already now if I could just stop killing them every couple of years.

Someone had commented it was Cespitularia....are you sure? There's no symbiotic algae present.

I love that coral, Top down photo is amazing. I cant even say i have seen those localy...

It looks like a cespitularia, not the african variety, maybe a phillipines one. But if its non-photosynthetic, i don't really know then.
