Experience using T1 on Cp-40? I'm getting much less flow

So I decided to give the CP-40 a try, despite mixed reviews. I also bought the T1 Aqualink controller. When I use the T1 to control the CP-40 I have significantly less flow than when I use the stock controller. Anyone else have this issue? I brought it up with the seller and they said in broken english that I must be doing something wrong. I took some video to demonstrate what I'm seeing if it's helpful. Is it against the rules for me to link to YouTube?

Make sure the propellers are spinning the correct way when I hooked up my cp40 to my t1 I had to go into the last menu settings and set it in reverse there should be a reverse and normal try that
