Hello,
so cant find interceptor recently, and found some last night in my closet, but the expiry was 14/01 ....

do you chemists think its useless now ? have the main ingredients disappeared or became useless now ?

I dosed it anyways this morning and hope it goes well till I get home this afternoon ...

It's a few months out of date. The main ingredients probably have decayed into something else at least in part. It's probably safe to use as long as the decay products are not toxic, but it might not be full strength.

Thank you Jon.

it worked like usual, killed the RB and one shrimp, a couple more shrimps made it. So I guess it hasnt decayed fully yet if anyone comes across this in future.

I've also used older/expred Interceptor kept sealed in the original foli packaging with similar results on red bugs.

I asked my wife this same question a while back. She is a Veterinarian. She told me you can use it (if stored properly) for at least a couple of years after expiration date. It's more of a FDA thing. Hope this helps guys.

Alex
