I have had flatworms in my tank going on for 2 months, there was a lot but not a tremendous amount to make me want to try fwe or anything like that , but every water change i would try and suck some up. my latest fish addition is an exquisite fairy wrasse , been in the tank about 2 weeks, and have just noticed i have no more flatworm. anybody got any experience of an exquisite fairy wrasse eating flatworms or is it just coincidence and the flatworms have died off naturally.

Cheers

John

Fairy wrasses aren't known for eating flatworms, so you definitely have a unique one :)
the Halichoeres species are the wrasses that mow down those pesky flatworms!

I'd bet that theyre just in a downswing. Fairy wrasses arent really substrate feeders, so i doubt hes eating them.

Halicoeres wrasses DO eat them though. My melanurus loves them, so did the Iridis.

thanks all, to be honest i'm of the opinion they died off naturally, it was just such a coincidence that i had to ask if there was any record of it ever happening
