Extension Set 9005.400

Is this extension set for the DOC 9005 skimmer needed for in-tank/aquarium use?
Or is it not needed?

I'm planning a sumpless setup, and need to let my wife know what to purchase by tomorrow.

I'm looking at the 9005 skimmer for my 65g and need to know if this is all that is needed to work right out of the box.

You only need the extension set for use in sump. For your application you do not need it.
