Man Doug,

That is some nice work Miracles makes . I sent them an Email for a tank quote !
Thanks! Derek and his team did a great job for us.

Romeo, here are some details you asked about. As for surface skimming, we have a tremendous amount of water movement with a Sequence 4200SEQ12 / OM4-way closed loop and return from the sump with a PCX-55HP. The surface is in a constant state of aggitation so the overflows are very effective.

This is a full shot of the Reef Room, but you can see that the overflow doesn't take up that much space. I'd much rather have the space in the tank!

Nice Doug!

Well today was do or die..... lol After flush trimming and rounding over the tank edges I made a template for the overflow openings. To maintain a smaller openning I chose to make them 1 1/4" tall by 10" wide. The fish will be kept in with the use of either eggcrate or gutter gaurd...... I will post a thread of the project soon...

Here's a <a href="http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=744431">link</a> to my tank (~118g still in progress) being built by Miracles.
