External Pump for Pacific Coast 1/10 HP Unit?

Hi Jeremy,

I'm looking at the 1/10 HP Pacific Coast chiller (CL-280) for my anemone tank (65 gallon tank, VHO lighting, needs about a 5 degree pulldown). I use a J tube gravity draw (from an old fluval setup) to get water out of the tank and need an external pump that would work well (without too many size-changing adaptors needed) to put the water back - about a 3-4 ft head. Preferably one that doesn't leak (the problem I'm having now). Do you have any suggestions?

Hey Kevin, take a look at the PanWorld 50PX, which is 590gph 3/4" in/out. Here is a link to the pump on our website:

If you are wanting just a little more flow you could go with the PanWorld 100PX, which is 790gph, 3/4" in/out and is at this link:

The 50PX would be just fine for flow through in the chiller, however I always like to have just a little more pump than needed and throttle it back with a ball valve just slightly to reach my desired flow rate.

Hmmm, the links give me an error:
