Extreme tank luck?

I think I may be getting too lucky it seems. I had the baby maroon and adult perc in the same 29. I have the perc hosting in a nice magnifica and decided at the end of next week that I would go ahead and buy this nice 75 thats for sale. I was in the store today picking up a gorgeous green plate coral and another skunk cleaner shrimp when I got the idea to say why not and picked up a baby perc. After acclimation I took him out by hand like I did the adult and placed him in the anemone . . . . .the adult female pushed him once and now its like they have been married for years :)

Be careful handling your fish by hand. They have a slime coat that helps protect them from stress and damage and using your hands instead of a container can remove it.

Glad to hear they are getting along though!

im sure there was water in his hand too....trust me i handle over 15,000 fish a day and the slime coat is not in danger :)

I would think it would definitely be safer than using a net. After all, how else would you get it from the bag to the tank w/o putting lfs water in your system?

Exactly! I thought it was better to use your hands so they dont hurt their gills or scales on the net.
