Eye Candy?

nice colonies but those one polyp frags your talking about are the eye candy compared to all those generics you have up there....

What a refreshing post. THANK YOU!!!!!! I love Z & P colonies. Nice to see some for a change. Again very nice.

we have the exact same taste!! you could be my long last twin. I have the same idea as you its a few months away for pics just yet!! great job man.

What about the idea of 100 space monsters?... But that would never happen because people chop em up into 1-3 polyps before they reach a decent size. Maybe this thread will inspire people to let their tiny little frags they spent $100+ on growwww.

thats correct!

15 atomic space monsters vs 100 watermelons? whos gonna win that eye candy battle...just saying...

100 watermelons becuase they are incredibly colorful.

I'll take an established reef like this full of beautiful colors over a tank of "limited edition" small frags any day. Colors make the reef awesome.

Thanks for posting again i2as kass.

I would have to agree, thanks Rokle!
Besides we all know those single polyp frags get all there pizzaz from a good macro lense and photo shop job, colonies are better in person any day!

Isnt that the truth!!

Thanks for the pictures!! Beautiful tank. Eye candy??? keep your one skiddle( and pay $25 per adjective), I will pick this is eye smogasbord!!!(sp)

I need to back up, most of the name brand, expensive "eye candy" are very pretty. I would love to see a tank full of "name brand colonies". It would be beautiful also. I just think it is funny to look at somebodys 15 head "colony" that doesn't cover up a frag plug. Sorry to get off topic of the post. The OP is exactly right. I love the colonies!!! A lot of work and time has gone into these colonies and you just don't get to see colonies like this very often. Love it!! Thanks for the pictures.

1. Thank you for posting.
2. This shows the diversity of colors and how to have a beautiful tank that one can enjoy regardless of hype surrounding certain color morphs.
